Liam Oliver - AMF Founder
Liam founded All My Friends in 2018 mainly as a way to stay involved in Manchester’s dance music scene. He wanted to make sure he could go to parties, club nights, and events and meet like-minded people in the city who loved “underground dance music” and clubbing.
He’s never had a specific goal in mind for AMF. It’s main purpose has always been to shine a light on local talent and give individuals around the rainy city a platform to share their music and brands.
The blog quickly evolved from a WordPress one-pager to a site that hosts monthly mixes, long-read article and podcasts.
Events have also been a big part of what AMF is about and (Pandemic aside) Liam has always strived to throw several parties a year at places like Stage & Radio, Eastern Bloc and The Crown & Kettle.
Liam enjoys mixing Italo, disco, and house with a penchant for jazzed-up lo-fi sounds as well as some squelch for later in the evening. He’s been lucky enough to warm up for the likes of Alexis Taylor, Ben Pearce & Ruff Dug and has played sets for Mixing Mates, Nite School, Jerk It, and many other Manchester brands.
