The AMF Teas Time show on Ripe Radio ran from October 2020 until April 2022 and we loved our time on the station. You can listen back to our old shows below (Doing a 2 part decade mix was a personal highlight) and as we recover more we’ll be sure to add them here.

It’s 7pm and it’s still light! This is mental! I can wear a T-shirt outside! Madness
Summer is well and truly on its way and with the longer days and easing of lockdown there’s more opportunity to meet up with friends and relax over a beer.
So for this month’s mix we’ve put together 2 hours of tunes perfect for an evening chilling in the sun. Whether you’re on the balcony with friends or sitting in the park this mix is perfect for those hazy days around town.
Musically we’re not venturing above 120bmp, the mix is full of Midnight Riot, Razor’n’Tapes, and other mid-tempo, wobbly oddities and few stone-cold classics added for good measure.
Food-wise we review Sugo Pasta Kitchen, anywhere that does Arancini to order gets a thumbs up in our books. Their Ancoats restaurant is still the only takeout but we’re pretty sure you can grab a table in Altrincham.
As for the recipe of the month, we’re going in with a hot steamy bowl of ramen. The dish can seem intimidating but once you’ve nailed the broth (it’s super easy, promise) the sky’s the limit with the dish. It also doesn’t require a lot of specialist ingredients; the only necessary addition is Miso paste that you can pick up at Wing Yip.

Spring is in the air. Can you smell it? Hoover us that scent. The smell of daffodils and bare lambs gassing it around fields. We have a one way route out of lockdown and things are finally, FINALLY opening up.

The pandemic continues, and it’s thrown a spanner in the works for the Tea Time show. Our original premise was good music and foodie reviews. With everywhere still, in lockdown, this has become impossible.
But, when a geezer shuts a door he opens a window. And since the food reviews are off the table this seemed like a perfect excuse to put together a decade mix.
A year late admittedly, but we decided to condense the last 11 years of music into 4 hours. This show will cover 2010 – 2015.
I’ve also thrown in news reports and cultural events from those years too. Mad.

Foodie chat is thin on the ground for this mix as I just wanted to go in with two hours of stomping disco. I thought about rating the components of a Xmas roast but we all know piggies in blankets would win.
Xmas this year will be strange for everyone so I wanted to put some good moods on the airwaves and, as disco is my first love, it felt like the right time to play some classics. November - 27th
Lockdown 2.0 is here, it’ll all be over by Christmas right? With the latest restrictions putting pubs on the back burner, this month’s show is taking a Roast Trump Election Special angle.
Host Liam Oliver will be running down his top 5 roasts in Manchester and we’ll be slipping in some audible clangers from the outgoing president.
Musically, the first hour of the show is going to be, no-nonsense, old skool, four to the floor, house music. Lots of lush pianos and rolling vocals. If you haven’t been missing clubs you certainly will be after this hour.
We’re taking a bit of a left turn for the second hour going deeper and darker with some fodder built for 4am. Rumbling synths, melancholy strings, and tense highs that’ll take you back to that blithely moment the lights come on at the club and you suddenly remember where you are.
