Hi i’m Liam the founder of All My Friends. Thanks for visiting the blog, I’ll tell you a bit about it whilst you’re here. The blog was born out of the frustration i felt when I received a noise abatement notice for playing music. Stressed and a bit mad (and sad) I started looking for a studio space in town. Once I finally found a reasonably priced room i felt it was a great space to create something thus All My Friends was born.
Why call it All My Friends?
This blog is all about building a community – a place to host mixes, share music, art and opinions on Manchester and beyond. I feel “All My Friends” encapsulates that ethos.
With clubs declining at an alarming rate many collectives are adopting innovative ways to keep playing music. Live video streams and pirate radio being the two major avenues. I thought i’d keep it simple with mixes and interviews.
(N.B i’ve no idea to host a live stream or radio station)
